Had the chicken kebab which came with Safran rice, salad and garlic sauce. The chicken was tender and juicy and tasted delicious. Salad was well dressed and the garlic sauce was the perfect accompaniment. I also ordered the hummus and bread which was also delicious. The bread was soft and flavourful and the hummus was creamy and tasty. Looking forward to my next visit to try the other dishes.

Awesome place! The two owners are lovely and very gratious, the food was so tasty, really well priced, one of my favourite places in NZ for Persian food! We got the koobideh, mixed kebab and bademjan, would recommend all but in particular the bademjan!Was there the same day as Chantelle Dejong and a lot of condescending and nasty behaviour coming from her table, story was twisted with a 1 star review, I felt awful for the waitress who had to deal with her!10/10 would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you guys!

Worst experience I've EVER had. decided to try this place out as were considering it for a function. Someone booked a table day before. On arrival there was no booking. It was empty so didn't matter. Food came out and one wrong dish came. No one ordered it so no one claimed it. They took it back. I waited as everyone got there's and mine never came. Eventually I asked where mine was and had to reorder. 2 more tables of people came in and got there's before me and our table had finished there lunch by now. 1 hour 20 minutes after arrival my lamb on chips arrived. I complained as I couldn't eat it as due back at work. The man was so rude to me, I got no apology, wouldn't offer me a discount or anything for their incompetence bringing out the wrong meal, was trying to charge me $40 not $16 due to the first incorrect meal and then said don't pay and give me back the food. Absolutely will not return again.

First time to have Persian food. And I must say this place to have it is outstanding! I had the stew with their own yogurt drink which was uniquely salty-ish. The service is great. Definitely coming back!

I had the stew. It was great. So tasty and the atmosphere is relaxed and colorful. I'll be visiting again to try other dishes. Highly recommend 👌🏾

This is my first time experiencing Persian food. Wow! excellent grilled skewers they are fresh and tender served with rice, seasoned just right. The lamb has been smelled well. Great! Dizi stew slow cooked in a stone crock pot with lamb pieces is stewed until tender. You should be careful when eating stew, it will have small bones in it. Here's a cozy restaurant, impressively decorated ceiling with vibrant colors, convenient location easy to see.Staff enthusiastic and helpful.I will be back.

Went for lunch and was surprised at the huge portions- could have easily been shared. Loved the flavors, and all ingredients were fresh too. Snuck home with a box of baklava as well at the end. Great value for money and will definitely return for dinner some time. Staff was friendly, and wait time was reasonable considering the quality of food served.
